This “My Dear Cold Bloodied King” comic was made by Lifelight in Webtoons. It’s about a normal peasant girl named, “Mei”, who one day saved someone of great importance to the royal palace against several deadly assassins. Soon after, she gets an invite to stay and live at the palace to train to fight and learn about medicine.
During her stay there she gets suspicious of the ‘Blood King’s’ true intentions of bringing her here. Not one to sit around and wait for the answers to come to her she decides to find out for herself. The results being her revealing the king’s true identity and suddenly becoming engaged to him. Of course, if your already reading the story than you know that her being engaged to him is just so he can protect her because of all the snooping she likes doing, she’s already made some enemies. Plus he thought it would be a good idea to lure out his unfaithful subjects.
Personally, I think this is going to be one of those “I did this to youto protect you and nothing more but I’ve suddenly fallen in love you” situations. For the ones who haven’t read this yet, I’ll just tell you now that most of the main character guys are hot as hell. The main two that I vote for that are the hottest are Katsu and Kozuke and for obvious reasons. If I was Mei then I would go with Kozuke and I think it’s because he’s got that bad ass charm going on, but you know that deep inside that he cares for Mei and is busting into her life so he can fulfill what he promised her all those years ago.
When Mei realizes who Kozuke is to her, she’s going to flip her lip. I don’t know what she’s going to do after because she’s going to have to choose one of these hot male specimens to be with. Now some you are probably wondering why I don’t think Hayate has a chance with Mei and that’s because he likes her for all the wrong reasons. His main reason for wanting to be with her is because she looks just like his old girlfriend, Shiori. When I found that out I got flashbacks of Inuyasha and immediately took him out the running to be Mei’s bae.
This story is a whole wild ride of secrets, love and betrayal. If your into historical, romance, tragedy and action comics/manga then this is right for you. This is still ongoing but you’ll be happy to know that a new chapter comes in every couple of days, so you don’t have to wait as long other mangas that like to take months to years to publish a chapter or two to the world. Sometimes, in the story their clothing and some situations get a little suggestive so be mature when you read it. Other than that this is a really good story that I hope you enjoy as much as I am.
I hope your having another wonderful day! Since today is my birthday I decided to talk about one of my favorite anime shows today which is Danganronpa.
As you all know Danganronpa was originally a video game before it became an anime series. So far there are two season, but I think their probably going to make a third season and I’ll tell you why later on. For now looks into the show itself, the first season is about what happened before the second game ,Goodbye Despair, but after the first game. The second season shows what happened to the class, Makoto and his friends after the second game ended.
In the first season it revolves around the Hinata and the 77th class at Hopes Peak Academy. It basically shows how they all were before they met Junko Enoshima which pretty much is how they were in the game before except that they didn’t want anything to do with each other because according to the school that as long as they pass the exams they don’t need to be in class. That’s where their new and perky home room teacher, Ms.Chisa, comes in. She comes in and makes them band together so they can enjoy a perfect and awesome high school life.
Turns out though that Ms.Chisa and several other people at the school have other ulterior motives for being there, which I’m not going to spoil for you. Anyway, there are some things that I want to point out that happened in the first season. The first one being is that Chiaki was in the class too and was alive at one point. My first thought was,“How is Chiaki alive?! I thought she was just a computer program so why is she here?” Turns out those questions are solved as you keep watching the series and when you find out about Chiaki’s fate it is the most saddest thing that you will ever see. I tried not to cry for the poor girl only because I know what happens to her in the second game of Danganronpa.
The other people who caught my eye were Nagito and Hinata for obvious reasons. Nagito was already a little bit of a nutcase, but it seems he didn’t really go off the deep end until the end of the first season after encountering the one and only Junko Enoshima. So, this really cleared up some things concerning him. Hinata, on the other hand, I kind of saw coming because if you’ve played the game then you know what happens to him while he was in Hope Peak. But, it was really interesting to see how he got to that point and how someone like him ended up joining Junko’s crew even after becoming an artificial Ultimate Hope.
Last but not least, I want to talk about what happened on the last episode of the first season. The reason being because I’m super confused as hell about it and I don’t know if I’m the only one who noticed this. So, on the last episode of the first season the new faces that showed up in the show and Makoto looked like they were all banding together to fight against a small army of people and helped stop another horrible tragedy and that Mikan mentions that she helped save someone from poison and that should be alright now. Right after that person (which I believe to be Kyoko) walks out and surprises Makoto to show that they are actually alive and well.
Now here’s why I’m confused as hell, that episode shows what happens after the second season ends, right? But, in the second season Makoto, Kyoko, Ashina and the new faces from the previous season have to endure a second killing game in where most of these characters and Kyoko die. How could that be when they were shown in the teaser episode showing them fighting against a common enemy that was supposed to be in the last episode of the second season? Can someone explain that to me please? For now, I’m going to assume that the creators made that episode but then reconsidered later on in the series and decided to kill them off instead.
The second season is what I said before a killing game in which we finally get to see Monaca doing what she does best. Now is she the mastermind of this killing game, something worse or not at all? Your going to have to watch it to find out the answer to that questions. But, I was really excited to see her crazy ass face after the Ultra Despair Girls game came out. Anyway, in this new season we see a lot of new faces and a lot of other people’s abilities in action. They just put you in for another wild ride of crazy. I can understand why they didn’t make this another game though because of the fact of the rules of this game and how their was no trial to determine the blackened. Everyone knew how this was supposed to go but even so turned on each other faster than the previous two classes did. When I saw that I was like,“Future Foundation my ass! They can’t even stop themselves to from becoming crazy with despair!” The only people who didn’t go crazy as hell are the people that were survivors of the previous ones.
Also, the reason why I think that they’ll make a third season is because I want background stories on Junko and Ikusaba. I think we can all agree that no one is born evil. You have to go through some awful stuff in order to become twisted like these two. That’s why I want to know their pasts and how they became how they are now. Sam e thing can be said for Nagito and Mikan. Their personalities were already weird to begin with but after Junko turning them evil their personalities got hundred times worse. That’s why I hope they make episodes about their pasts to find out why they are the way they are.
Speaking of crazy and evil is it wrong to like their despair appearances more than their current hopeful selves? I can’t deny that some of them looked cool as hell being evil but that’s just me. This anime will take you for a wild ride into the past and the future of the Danganronpa world. I hope you enjoy and the games as much as I have. Also, shoutout to all you enjoying your birthdays today and have fun!
Are you enjoying this lovely spring weather like I am? I hope so.
Today’s anime that I’ll be talking about is Servamp that is a manga and an anime show by Strike Tanaka. I happened to come across this one by chance and I thought it looked interesting enough to take a look at. I will say that I only watched the show, but not the manga so this is going to be based on that.
It’s a teen boy named,”Mahiru”, who likes simple things but hates troublesome things. Already his personality traits are heading for a world of disaster. Anyway, one day he finds a black cat and decides to take it home to keep as a pet and names it, “Kuro”. But, the very next day when he returns from school, he finds a guy there instead of his cat; watching tv and eating all his food. Turns out that the cat he took in was actually a vampire and the reason why he was knocked out when he found him was because he was super weak to the sun.
In this show, instead of vampires burning or glittering in the sunlight they turn into small, cute animals. Kuro’s being an adorable black cat. Long story short Kuro and Mahiru end up making a contract with each other. Soon after another servamp comes out the woodwork that calls himself ,”Tsubaki”, the vampire of Melancholy.
Kuro is one of the seven vampires of sin. He being the servamp of Sloth for obvious reasons and his other siblings representing the other six sins. Apparently, none of the other vampires knew about Tsubaki’s existence of being the 8th vampire of the sin, Melancholy. Tired of hiding and not being acknowledged by his older siblings, he decides to start a war against the other vampires.
Kuro and Hyde end up being my favorite characters in this show which i find ironic since they HATE each other with a bloody passion. Kuro keeps making me laugh with how lazy he is, he’ll actually avoid fighting because he feels sore or isn’t into it at all. Hyde is the opposite he always seem to be up for a fight at all times and doesn’t care about anyone but himself. He seems to have a bad and ultimately fatal habit of killing his eves when he gets bored with them.
Anyway, I was kind of disappointed with the fact that only 3 out of the 7 sin vampires (not including Tsubaki) showed up in the show. If it wasn’t for the flashback, you’ve never have known what the other looks like. The beginning of the show made it seem like it was going to be that all seven band together for the greater good of all vampire kind and fight against Tsubaki all at once, but that didn’t happen. So, you could say I was a little miffed about that.
Hopefully, those details are in the manga for your enjoyment. But, this is a very good anime to watch and pass the time with. I hope you enjoy the crazy characters and funny moments that are in this show. See you next time!
Happy New Year everyone! Let’s have a great start to the new year.
For today’s manga, I’ll be talking about,”Pochi Kuro” that was written and illustrated by Naoya Matsumoto. In this one, our story revolves around a pair of thuggish demons named Kuro and the cat demon Reo who dream like all other demons that they could one day eat human meat. Apparently, humans are very rare in appearing in the demon world and if by some chance of fate that they did appear only the nobles and royal family have the privilege of eating them.
That’s why for common demons like Kuro and Reo can only dream about them until one day from a stroke they find a human girl unconscious in the river. Of course, they wanted to eat her but it didn’t take long for Kuro to get attached to her and name her, Pochi.
Eventually, Kuro fell in love with Pochi and promised to take her back to the human. Sadly, one of the reasons that humans appear very rarely in the demon world is that there is only way from someone to go in and out between worlds and its only in one area that is protected in a powerful shield of magic that can destroy any demon just from touching it. But, since Pochi is immune to magic because she’s human they think that place is her best bet.
This series is still ongoing, but it’s really funny and filled with demons fighting it out to get to Pochi. It turns out that their might be a love triangle going on between Kuro, Prince Ishizu and Pochi. I can’t wait to find out if she stays or goes in the end, but so far the only mysteries in this manga are how did she get into the demon world in the first place? Why is Kuro so powerful for a low common demon? I think Kuro is going to be an important person later and it turns out he’s royalty too somehow. We have so many devilishly handsome princes making an appearance in this story that I wouldn’t be surprised if he was one, too.
I can’t wait for the new chapters to come out and reveal what thrilling adventures they will go through next and I hope you will, too. If demons, comedy and action are your forte then give this manga a try and see how you like it.
Today I’ll be talking about a movie called,” Gantz:O” which is an animation movie made by Yasushi Kawamura and Digital Frontier. It was based on the Gantz manga series and yes, I will admit that I didn’t read the manga so I won’t be making comparisons between the two.
Anyway, the story is that the world sometimes gets plagued with monsters and mysterious people in black suits come out of nowhere and kill them before they do any major damage. Where the monsters come from and why is still a big mystery in this movie. All we know is that there just there.
Now, the main character in this story is Masaru Kato, who was just going about his business until he decided to play the hero when he tried to save someone from a knife attack in the subway. Unfortunately, he gets killed in the process and the next thing he knows he’s in a white room with five other people. Most of them knew what was going and explained to him that he has been chosen to play the Gantz game. In this game you have to defeat the boss within the time limit or your erased from existence. This game is based on points the tougher the monster you killed the more points you get and if you get 100 points then the Gantz computer will offer you three options.
Upgrade your weapons and equipment.
Resurrect a dead player.
Erase you memories and quit the game.
For most people in this movie they wanted to get out as fast as possible and tried really hard to get the 100 points. But, there were others that enjoyed killing and doing anything they want, so they didn’t really care about the quitting the game. They didn’t even care if they lost a limb or another team member died. How does Gantz decide who plays the game after they die? We may never know.
If I had favorite characters for this it would be the bad ass, Kei Kurono, who died in the beginning of the movie protecting his friend, Reika, who was a famous pop star when she was alive and Anzu Yamasaki who was this hyper teenage girl who followed the Kato around even though she was on the Osaka team. I liked her carefree nature and hyper energy.
This movie is action packed and if you’ve read the manga already then you know what I’m talking about. This will make you believe that even in the darkest of times a good show of humanity will be there showing people that not all is lost. If your curious about Gantz and mysteries behind it then I’m sure all questions will be answered in the manga and if their not then it will truly be a mystery.
This is something that you can get into real fast. If the killing monster action doesn’t catch your eye then the lovely ladies and the sci-fi themed world will. Enjoy!
Hi guys! I hope you guys are having a wonderful week like I am, even though, I’m enduring a horrible heat wave at the moment. If any of you live where I am then you know the struggle.
Today’s anime is D. Grayman which was written by Katsura Hoshino. It mostly revolves around a boy named Allen Walkers who was born with a strange and deadly arm which you learn later in the show is his akuma weapon. He lives in a world where akuma are constantly being created by the Millennium Earl and are killing people in order to evolve and get stronger. Akuma are hideous monsters that were once a person who had died, but if a person wants you back hard enough and you make a deal with the Millennium Earl, he’ll bring that soul back from the dead only to order it to kill you and become a akuma. Bad deal, right?
Personally, if someone I knew died and I was really mourning their death and someone came up to me with that offer I would most likely have 2 reactions: I would think your crazy and ask what’s the catch. We all know that nobody does anything for free even if they go up to you and say its free. There is always some kind of ulterior motive behind it.
Anyway, with Allen Walker’s own personal hatred towards the Earl, he went to find the Black Order to become and exorcist. They’re some funny freaking characters in this show my 2 favorites would have to be Kanda and Komui. Kanda is a samurai exorcist with a mysterious past that I really hope they reveal one day. Kanda may seem to have a black heart and be cruel as hell, but later you realize he’s just a grumpy guy that doesn’t want to wear his emotions on his sleeve. I think he’s totally adorable to when you watch him be grumpy and angry for no reason.
Komui is this crazy genius with an extreme sister complex. He likes making tools and machines that most of the time don’t work and end up attacking people. I think the reason anyone puts up with it is because he’s the chief at the Black Order. He worked hard for that title, so he could be with his sister again who is also an exorcist.
Forgot to mention that akuma are considered to be imaginary creatures as far normal people are concerned. Well, at least until they see one with their own eyes that is. Not everybody can become an exorcist, you have to innocence inside of you in order to use the power to fight akuma. Also, the innocence would have to choose you in order to use it, you can’t just find it and expect that superpowers or anything.
This show is a race to see which side will succeed in getting all of the missing pieces of the innocence and the heart. This crazy, dark, funny and full of action, so if your into those things then you better stop reading this and start watching this right now or read the manga. A third season to the show has come out recently called “D.Grayman: Hollow” and I can’t wait to see it and tell you guys all about it. Until then, watch this if your into it and I’ll see you all next time.
Just finished Sherlock Holmes the Devil’s Daughter not too long ago and I know that I probably haven’t talked about the previous Sherlock Holmes game in the past so I’ll talk about both so you guys don’t get confused or anything. This game was developed by FrogWares and I have to say that this one is a bit better than the last one.
The story already starts out epic and action because the first thing you see is a man (whom you find out later that its Sherlock Holmes) running in the middle of the woods from a mysterious figure while being shot at and the only thing that I could think of was…did he get away?
Later, we find out the answer to that question but I’m not going to spoil it for the people who haven’t played it yet. In this game, I noticed a lot of different things that the previous didn’t do or show. Like the fact that both characters appearances have changed, you can go more rooms in his apartment than last time and that Holmes adopted a daughter!
The last one I was not expecting, even though, the freaking title says the Devil’s Daughter right on the cover. I was kind of hoping it was someone else’s daughter. When I first saw her I was like does a wife too that I don’t know about in this game too? As you guys can guess, Sherlock Holmes in the last game was pretty much single with no love interest in mind. But, then they say adopted and now I’m thinking why in the hell did he adopt a little girl?
People I’m not being mean or anything but if you’ve watched the movies or played the last game then you guys will know why him being a parent or even trying to start a family would be like mission impossible for this guy. Just like the last game it had about 5 different cases where you gather evidence and decide who the criminal is. I’m usually good at detective games but this one had me doubting myself the entire time I played. Also, this one had a lot more puzzle games than the last one which frustrated me to know end. For most of the puzzles after you die a number of times a skip option would appear which I happily clicked one.
A woman named Alice appears in the game and before I even played the game other players would say that this was probably a potential love interest. But, when I saw her she instantly reminded me of the lady thief in the first Sherlock Holmes movie and I instantly knew she was up to no good. Again not going to spoil what happens between these two but I will tell you that it gets crazy………and creepy!!!
Theirs one thing that I seem to notice throughout the whole game that’s been bugging me and I was surprised when I was surfing the net and no one seemed to notice that this was a bit odd to me. If you’ve played the game, then you’ve seen the William Halmington photo and my first thought when I saw it was……ISN’T THIS THE SAME GUY PHOTO FROM UNTIL DAWN?! If you’ve played Until Dawn then you know what I’m talking about when your walking around and you find clues and you find this guy’s picture of him slowly being turned into a Wendigo. It bugged me the entire time I was playing and kept looking at the photo over and over and then looked up the Until Dawn photo and they do look similar.
I kept thinking maybe they were made by the same people. There have been lots of times when old stuff from previous games would pop up in newer games from the same company, so I thought that was the case here. The answer I got was ……no. Two different games from two different companies. For people who have played Until Dawn and Sherlock Holmes the Devil’s Daughter, I would like for you guys to try to compare to see if it’s not just me who thinks this is really weird. Again since no one seemed to have come to this realization at the similarity I was only able to get the photo to Until Dawn once I can find a Sherlock Holmes version of it, I will put it up here, as well.
Overall, this is a pretty good game better than its last one. I loved the storyline and the characters, if you like puzzle/mystery or detective games then you’ll like this game a lot. Even for me who doesn’t enjoy puzzle games very much, I still very much enjoyed the story.
Everyone has bad habits here and there and for me this particular bad habit of mine sometimes gets on my last nerve because I end up getting mad at myself in the end. I don’t know if other people have a problem with this but when I’m not sure of something like a game or anime, I seem to hold off on it because I instantly think that its not my cup of tea. Later though, when I finally go fuck it and try the game or episode I get angry in the end because I find out how good it is and why I didn’t try it sooner.
That’s how I felt after watching one episode of Parasyte. After, the first episode ended I was totally hooked on it and had to see more. This was made by Hitoshi Iwaaki who created the manga and the actual anime series was created by Madhouse. This anime revolves around a teenage boy named Shinichi who is nerdy looking, nervous and friendly towards anyone that he meets. He also has a total crush on red-headed girl named Murano who for some strange reason keeps asking him from time to time,” Are you really Shinichi Izumi?”
It kind of pissed me off every time she asked throughout the entire show. I mean, why does she keep asking that? Would it make her feel different if he said no, but she already knows its him so why does she keep freaking asking him that same stupid question? I actually got really happy when he told her to shut up after she asked that same damn question for like the hundredth time to him while he was in bad ass mode. To tell you guys the truth, I really didn’t like her all that much. Everytime I saw her I always thought that something was a little off about her but I didn’t know what. Wasn’t sure if I wanted to him to end up with Kana either but I’m getting ahead of myself.
Basically, Shinichi was living an ordinary high school life up until one day he wakes up to something digging into his arm. He stopped it from going anywhere else in his body, but the next day he summed it all up as a bad dream until his arm started to transform and talk to him, at least. His arm later named Migi explains that he was going for his brain so he could take over his body and eat humans for nourishment. Later, they keep running into their more people infected and Shinichi has decided that he will get rid of as many parasite infected humans as he can.
Shinichi goes through a lot of shit in this show and sometimes you feel so bad for him. Its never revealed where the parasites come from. They never make it clear, but I’m betting that their aliens because in the first episode they were all falling from their small pods from the sky and none of them have any idea why their even there in the first place. I wish they would have hinted more but I guess we’ll never know. I really like when Shinichi was badass looking with his hair gelled back and everything, he looked really hardcore to me even his personality changed drastically. Again if you watch it or have read it, you’ll see that he goes through a lot of crap. To me it was like his own weird, parasite version of breaking down and rebelling. Again you know what I’m talking about if you’ve seen it.
There is a lot gore and action in this anime and I love it. My only wish was that he would have stayed in badass mode, but oh well. If you like mutants, action, gore and a bit of romance meshed into one then this one is definitely for you. There is so much to like about this anime its crazy, but I know it won’t get a second season.
No point, really.
The ending is so heart warming and funny at the same time that I thought I was going to cry for a minute. This is worth watching especially for people who are fans of sci-fi and horror anime. Hope you enjoy it!
I bet everyone wonders what their pets do when they’re gone. Some pet parents put up cameras or let someone else babysit them but most of us like the mystery of wondering what they do when we turn our backs. This is why I liked this movie so much when it came out.
This movie was made by Illumination Entertainment and it centers around a dog named Max. He’s super attached to his owner and can’t stand it when she leaves for work or for anything else that he can’t be involved with. It was because he thought about his owner all the freaking time that he never really noticed the cute and hyper Gidget who had a serious crush on him. One day, everything changes for Max when his owner suddenly decides that he needs a playmate so she ends up adopting Duke who is a huge and hairy dog that doesn’t know his own strength. Immediately, the two hate each other but that’s mostly because Max was being so mean to him and wasn’t giving him a chance. Basically, Duke had no choice at that point but to use his size and intimidate Max into behaving…..or at least try.
After, this movie is over you kind of start to wonder if your pet has similar adventures when your gone. I sadly don’t have any pets with me right now so I don’t have to wonder but I think it would be cool to find out later that my pet did all of these things and still managed to get back inside the house in time to greet me when I get home. This movie is really sad, funny and heart warming at the same time as you watch two different types of characters get along when the odds were against them. Its one of those opposites attract type deal.
If you an animal lover, pet owner or just love watching hilarious animation movies then this movie is for you. Watching this movie will definitely make your day just a little bit brighter….that is if you can get over the sad stuff in the movie first. Hope you guys enjoy this movie and its furry characters.
When I first saw this game I was a little hesitant to play it to tell you the truth, but then I said to myself ‘what the heck I’ll give it try’. Looking back, I am so glad that I bought this game and brought it back home with me, so now I was mentally kicking myself because I almost didn’t buy it that day. This game was created by Dontnod Entertainment and Square Enix and it revolves around a girl named Max who goes through the strangest things during this entire game.
The game already starts out very weird and mysterious because she wakes up in the middle of a storm just in time to see her hometown about to get destroyed by a massive monster tornado. But, right after her supposed ‘vision’ of the future, she suddenly gains the power of controlling time. How does she get that power?
I really don’t know. I was wondering during this whole game how out of every character that was in here, why was she the only one that gained that power? It looks to me that it will always be a mystery and all we can do is speculate and guess why and how. I just wish they would have given us a hint of some sort during the game, so we wouldn’t be so confused now. Out of everything that was put into the game, that one story detail was the only bad thing that I could point out.
The graphics were excellent and the gameplay. This is another what I like to call movie video game but with a lot more input from the player this time than the previous ones I’ve played if you ask me. This game had a bit of the usual but added a hint of a puzzle/hidden object parts to it, too. So, we had a lot more to play with in this one.
If I had to give this game a rating then I would give it a 4.5/5. Like I’ve said before it was really good and there are many ways to play this game with multiple outcomes that just want you to go back and play it again. I’m not going to go into detail about the story for you guys, since I don’t want to spoil it for you but just know there is a lot of drama in this and it will definitely make you cry. I would recommend this game to pretty much everyone that loves a good storyline and is looking for a nice way to pass the time.
