Hello everyone!

Today I’ll be talking about a new comic that I discovered recently called, “Midnight Poppy Land” by Lilydusk. Everything looked interesting to me at a single glance so I decided to check it out and I’m super glad that I did! I’m currently waiting for more episodes to be born.

But, let’s get into the nitty gritty of what this story is even about. So, its about a girl named, Poppy, who is a book editor and is on a assignment to go to the big city to do a important presentation for a client of the company. On the way, she encounters something potentially dangerous and ever since that day she’s caught the eye of a man named, Tora. Tora is a large and dangerous man that is a renowned bodyguard to a very powerful mafia family.

This would be a dangerous love story where opposites attract, but the only problem is only one side so far in this story is attracted to the opposite. While the other person in question of this relationship is completely oblivious to the other’s subtle hints that their throwing.

If theirs one thing that I don’t like about this comic then it would have to be the summary. I feel like the summary gave too much away for the story so now it kind of becomes predictable about what is going to happen when Quincey who is the son of the mafia boss meets Poppy. But I could be wrong because even with the summary there were still a lot of things in the story itself that was incredibly interesting and kept me wanting to hurry up to the next page.

Personally, if I had to choose between Tora and Quincey, I would choose Tora. He’s a total tall, dark and handsome type while Quincey seems to be his opposite.

Also, I would like to add that if you don’t like or can’t handle violence on any level then you probably shouldn’t read this one because their is a lot of that in this one. But, I still enjoyed and will be enjoying the future chapters Lilydusk creates for this comic.
