Life is Strange

When I first saw this game I was a little hesitant to play it to tell you the truth, but then I said to myself ‘what the heck I’ll give it try’. Looking back, I am so glad that I bought this game and brought it back home with me, so now I was mentally kicking myself because I almost didn’t buy it that day. This game was created by Dontnod Entertainment and Square Enix and it revolves around a girl named Max who goes through the strangest things during this entire game.

The game already starts out very weird and mysterious because she wakes up in the middle of a storm just in time to see her hometown about to get destroyed by a massive monster tornado. But, right after her supposed ‘vision’ of the future, she suddenly gains the power of controlling time. How does she get that power?

I really don’t know. I was wondering during this whole game how out of every character that was in here, why was she the only one that gained that power? It looks to me that it will always be a mystery and all we can do is speculate and guess why and how. I just wish they would have given us a hint of some sort during the game, so we wouldn’t be so confused now. Out of everything that was put into the game, that one story detail was the only bad thing that I could point out.

The graphics were excellent and the gameplay. This is another what I like to call movie video game but with a lot more input from the player this time than the previous ones I’ve played if you ask me. This game had a bit of the usual but added a hint of a puzzle/hidden object parts to it, too. So, we had a lot more to play with in this one.

If I had to give this game a rating then I would give it a 4.5/5. Like I’ve said before it was really good and there are many ways to play this game with multiple outcomes that just want you to go back and play it again. I’m not going to go into detail about the story for you guys, since I don’t want to spoil it for you but just know there is a lot of drama in this and it will definitely make you cry. I would recommend this game to pretty much everyone that loves a good storyline and is looking for a nice way to pass the time.
