Bonjour Sweet Love Patisserie

Pinterest.comHi everyone!

Did you think that I was going to disappear again for a bit? Well, if you did….your wrong. I’m still here and I plan to keep talking about the things I love with all of you for a long time.

Moving on, the next anime for today is a sweet show called, ” Bonjour Sweet Love Patisserie” made by Silver Link and Connect. Now, the first thing I thought when I looked at the title was too things and that is its going to in France and there are going to be a lot of sweets involved. Turns out, I was half right!

Sweets of all kinds are being shown throughout each episode (much to my satisfaction) and this show takes place in Japan not France. But, there is a cute and energetic dessert making teacher from France that shows up in the show often. He turns out to be my favorite character in the show because he’s so simple minded, hyper and cute as hell! So, if you think about I was right about the French thing and sweets.

In the show, it revolves around a sweet and shy girl names Sayuri Haruno who won a scholarship to an elite confectionery school where most of the students are from high society. Knowing that little bit kind of reminded me of Haruhi in Ouran Host Club where she was also a scholarship student in an elite school. So, when I thought  along those lines I kind of assumed the comedy was going to be similar. The show was funny, but in a different sense than what you would see in Ouran Host Club. Anyway, she’s a scholarship student trying to become best pastry chef around like her father before.

I think Sayuri’s parents might be dead. The reason being that you never actually see them; you only see them in the family photo twice in the entire show with both of their faces glared out by the sun. Also, she never mentions them or talks about them and the subject never comes up in the show, so I don’t know for sure if their really dead or not. It might reveal that in the manga because the show ain’t giving nada and you know why?

IT’S BECAUSE EACH EPISODE IS EXACTLY 5 MINUTES LONG!!!

You heard me right, each episode is only five minutes and I can’t think of a reason why it would be. As you all can probably guess it didn’t take me long to go through all 24 episodes. For me, who expects an anime episode to at least last 20 to 30 minutes this was a bit of weird change to me. Everytime I thought something else would happen the credits would pop up, so I felt the episodes were incomplete.

Nevertheless, it was still I good short no matter how ridiculously short the episodes were. If you want to know more details than the anime gives you than feel more than free to read the manga or even play the mobile game from which the anime originated from. It’s a cute little story with several good looking guys making sweets that made my mouth water. If we had the technology, I would have stuck my hand in the tv and grabbed all the sweets they made.

If you’re looking for an adorable show to kill the time and are in love with sweets like I am (and the guys of course!) then I think you should try watching this show.

Thanks for Watching

Yuri on Ice

Polygon.comGood morning everyone! This week I’ll be talking about a show called “Yuri on Ice” by Sayo Yamamoto and Mitsuro Kubo. This anime last year and I heard so much buzz about it that I had to watch and I have to say this show was the most beautiful and hilarious anime that I have seen in a while. It was totally awesome and it blew me away to the point where I was crying that the season was over.

This anime revolves around figure skating and a guy named Yuri. Yuri had natural talent in the sport but has very low self-esteem and would occasionally self destruct every time he went out to compete. It got so bad that he decided to run and hide back in his hometown and stuff his face with food after he got last place in the national championship. Don’t know if you guys know this but figure skaters need to maintain a lean and light figure similar to a ballerina or they’ll most likely hurt themselves or fall flat on their face while performing. Anyway, while he’s at home his idol Victor Nickiforov takes notice of him and decides to put his own skating career on hold to personally coach Yuri. Victor claims that not only will he help him get back into the ISU Grand Prix but he will win 1st place, too.

TheDailyDot.comVictor is a beautiful man, but a ruthless coach. I couldn’t tell you how many times I busted out laughing because Victor holds his friendly smile while ripping Yuri a new one whenever he messed up. If theirs one thing that confused me the entire time I watched this anime is that I couldn’t determine if Yuri and Victor were gay or not or that they were even a couple as the story progressed. Some of things that I learned while watching is that Victor is very affectionate; he likes hugging kissing people all the time he’s just naturally friendly like that, but most of the time he does it to Yuri so it makes you think that their together. Also, Chris is not only the most obviously gay man in this entire show but my favorite character. I loved watching this guy especially when he was out on the ice. I started laughing at his routine mostly because of his inner monologue. I have a sinking suspicion that Chris likes figure skating because of some kinky sexual thrill.

If you’ve watched it then you know what I’m talking about.

RapsodieEspagnole.comI didn’t think it was possible but I haven’t been this excited about figure skating since watching Blades of Glory which we all know is a good freaking movie. I was sad to realize I was on the last episode until discovered that a SEASON 2 IS COMING SOON! That’s right folks the creators of Yuri on Ice have announced that they are in the making of a second season and that it should be released some time this year. I’m so freaking excited about it, you know I’ll be keeping my eye out for it.

For all of you, that love a good story with funny characters, figure skating or hot guys performing on ice then I suggest that you make this your next conquest on anime shows to watch. If some of you are unable to endure long hours of what could be or could not be gay love then I’m sorry that your going to miss out. This is a really awesome show and I can’t wait until the next season comes out.

Mitsu Aji Blood

This manga is by Mitsuki, Miko and is also known as Honey Blood. It revolves around a girl named Hinata who one day notices that we have a new next door neighbor named Junya. Junya is handsome, mysterious, a famous writer and…….a vampire!

I kind of get confused on what the people know in this story about beings of the supernatural because in the beginning when people were being killed in a very vampire-like fashion, they thought it was vampires. But, one of Hinata’s friends keeps saying that vampires do not exist. I’m sure her friend isn’t the only one who thinks that. So, it raises the question, do the people in this story know about vampires or not?

Also, when these murders started to take place is the same time that her new neighbor, Junya moved in. So, of course, she was instantly suspicious of him. I also think she was getting curious about him because she was attracted to him. He has a beautiful female editor who comes to see him all the time and at first it looks like they are ‘sleeping together’ all the time. Looks can be deceiving though.

Eventually, Hinata and Junya become a couple (like we didn’t see this coming) and the story continues. I could already tell that the editor didn’t approve of their relationship because she was jealous. I think Hinata should take her jealousy as a total self-esteem boost because the handsome vampire didn’t want the hot and curvy editor, he wanted Hinata. She’s not sexy, I would say that she’s cute or adorable.

Also, Hinata has acquired one of the laziest or most laid-back boyfriend in the world. Other than working on his new book, he eats (drinks her blood), sleeps, teases her or goes out for a midnight stroll. Whenever, Hinata tries to get him to do things that she wants to do, she has to literally drag him out the house in order for him to do it.

Note: I don’t sunlight can kill him, but it does make him extremely weak.

As the story, goes on you’ll find out that more and more about Junya’s past and how it’ll affect Hinata’s future. You’ll have to read this manga to find out. But, I think that their realationship is totally hilarious and adorable.

The Legend of Phoenix Wright Begins

Back from my brief vacation I shall now continue blogging once again. This time will start by talking about another Ace Attorney game.

For those who have read my previous posts then you know that I have talked about the Ace Attorney series games in the past. Unfortunately, I am playing them out of order and today is no different. This one is called Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney and it was the first game in the series. Before, I even bought the game I was worried about how the graphics would look and if I would even like it because it was made such a long time ago. Those worries were put to rest once I started playing. The game did what the rest of the series did which was suck me right into the storyline.

In this game is where we play the soon to be famous Phoenix Wright where in this game, he is just starting out. It was so funny watching him squirm and not finding the right words to say because he was so nervous. As I was playing the game, the different questions that have stacked up in my mind when I was playing the later versions of the Ace Attorney games finally unraveled. For example, I finally know how Miles Edgeworth and Phoenix Wright are connected to each other and how all the other characters met.

In the first one, you’ll see Edgeworth’s past come to light and watch Von Karma crack. I thought that was the most hilarious mental breakdown I have ever seen. The great and confident Von Karma finally cracks under the pressure. I had two thoughts while his breakdown and it was,” That’s so funny!” and “If only Franzika could see you now!” She would have been devastated to see her father like that and I thought would even be more sweeter the victory.

Also, for the people who already play the game I recommend playing the first game before playing the last game. If you don’t want to be totally lost in the storyline of the new Ace Attorney game called Trials and Tribulations then play the first one. A lot of what happens in the first game will be mentioned in the latest game, as well.

The Last Game

(Yanagi and Kujou)

When you see a title named “Last Game”, you think there is going to be some serious action and tension in the story. Probably revolving around two rivals, right?

Well, then you would be wrong and right at the same time.

This is a love story between two rivals, Yanagi and Kujou. Well, there not really rivals if one of them barely acknowledges the other. Yanagi has always been smart, rich and talented in everything that he does until Kujou comes along and takes the spotlight. She’s plain, expressionless and poor, but beats him in everything that he does.

Yanagi being the person that he is couldn’t accept that a girl like her can beat him. So, he’s made his mission to try to beat her in something. This manga reminded me of S.A. only reversed. As time went on in the story, Yanagi still can’t beat her in anything but starts to notice that she has developed a weakness. She’s so expressionless and shows no emotion no matter the situation. She’s been called the “Iron Daughter” because of that and everyone knows that she works hard, so she can help her.

So, no one approaches her or wants to be her friend because of this, but this doesn’t seem to bother her either. I loved seeing Kujou not reacting to all the weird stuff those two go through.Yanagi gets the idea that he can take advantage of Kujou’s lonely situation by making her fall for him. He tells himself that if he can at least do that then he wins the game, which is why it’s called Last Game.

You already know that this manga is going to be hilarious. A rich boy trying to win the heart of the Iron Daughter. What even more funny was that he had that idea in middle school and in this story they’re in college. So, he’s been trying to win her love for 10 straight years! That’s really messed up, but you’ll have to give him credit for persistence. Any other guy would have given up a long, long time ago and Souma isn’t making it any easier on him.

Souma is this country who came to the city to escape the city life. It was ridiculous how much money and effort, he puts into his image so he can become popular. When he met Yanagi he automatically made him his rival and does anything to mess with him, that includes Kujou. A first he was flirting with her to get back at him. Then, turns out he actually likes her. A weird love triangle has formed (I love, love triangles).

If I had to say who she had to go with I’d say Souma and only because he can read her better and seems to understand her more than Yanagi. Also, because he’s from the country and Kujou isn’t rich, he appreciates the little things that she does, much to Yanagi’s dismay. Everytime Souma and Kujou are together it always rubs him the wrong way, which I think is funny to watch.

This story is incomplete, so expect more to come.

Joushi Tono Hitoban

If I had anything to say about this manga, then it would be that it’s funny, heart warming and a little messed up. The reason why I say that this story is a little messed up is because of Takagi. Takagi is our main character’s, Konduo, boss and worst nightmare.

Poor Kondou is the only person in the company that gets yelled and tortured by Takagi. For some strange reason, he’s nice to everyone else except him. Since the beginning I thought this was Takagi’s way of saying that he liked Konduo and that’s why he treats him differently from everyone else. Then, why doesn’t he just tell him, instead, of making Kondou’s life miserable as much as possible?

The answer is that Takagi is a sadist.

Your going to see a lot of that in this manga. I felt so sorry for him while I read it. From all this bullying, Kondou’s has developed this little habit where he goes to a local bar after work everyday, so he can drown away his sorrows. Also, so he can rant and complain to anyone that will listen to him about how horrible Takagi is.If you think that Takagi’s sadism is messed up, you won’t believe what happens to him next?

Warning: Spoiler ahead!

Not only does he not get home one night. But, he ends up getting picked up by Takagi and then wakes up finding himself in his bed naked! I liked how Takagi kind of played with his mind after that. Konduo wasn’t quite sure if they did do it or not. Takagi neither confirmed or denied it either. He just played it off like nothing happened. He still even treats him the same and never mentions it.

I felt so bad for him because he has to deal with this evil mastermind everyday. This manga would be M for mature because your going to see a lot of action in the bedroom (if you know what I mean). Also, I would like to hint that there is going to be a bit of a love triangle introduced into this story, but not much though. I wish they let that stay in there for a bit more. Also, I think that they could have gone a few chapters more before ending it. Other than that this was a good read. A short, but a good read nonetheless.

I would love some feedback from, you guys. To see how I’m doing or if anyone has any requests that they would like for me to talk about.

Fairy Tail

Source: http://www.mangauk.com

This popular show is centered around a group of wizards that take jobs posted at their guild. Their guild is called Fairy Tail and according to the story, theirs is really famous and for good reason.

The wizards that work at Fairy Tail are said to be so powerful and crazy that everyone says that they wouldn’t be surprised if they destroyed whole cities trying to complete their missions. Now, don’t get me wrong they aren’t evil they just over do it to the point of no return. This also puts them on the council’s radar constantly. For people, who don’t know about the magic council are a powerful group of wizards that act as the police, the jury and judge. They make sure that all the wizards around the world are following the rules.

Anyway, the main people in this anime are Lucy (the celestial wizard), Natsu (the fire wizard), Gray (the ice wizard), Erza (weapon wizard) and Happy (the talking, flying cat). I don’t know which one would be my top favorite its a tie between Natsu and Gray. I like Lucy too, but she isn’t all that powerful. Her magic is convenient sometimes, but most of the time its pretty much useless. I think that its funny that she seems to be the only normal person in Fairy Tail whose trying to get along with everyone. She gets so freaked out with just about everything that they do. Also, I was surprised that once upon a time she was thinking of joining Phantom Lord, the rival wizard guild against Fairy Tail.

When I saw how people in Phantom Lord worked I already knew she wasn’t a good fit. They were all doom and gloom and she’s all perky and sunshine.

There are so many unique characters at Fairy Tail. The show is hilarious, adventurous and full of action and magic. I can’t get enough of it! I can’t wait to see the second season to see what happens next. I have strong hopes that one day that Natsu will beat Erza and make it to the second floor of the guild. Also, hoping that Lucy and Natsu get together one day. Natsu may not realize it, but I think those two were meant to be together.

Fairy Tail is definitely a must watch. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Especially, if you like fighting, magic, adventure and plenty of mystery.

New story, New mystery: The Gathering

Welcome to the next story in the Darkness Rising Series. This story takes place in Salmon Creek a while after the showdown between Chloe’s group and the Edison group. As you’ve probably guess this was also written by Kelley Armstrong. Before, I even started reading this I was crossing my fingers hoping that Chloe and the people in this story to cross paths. unfortunately, to my disappointment that didn’t happen…….this time. You never know they could come up in the next one.

Anyway, let’s get this show on the road.

This one is mostly revolved our Maya, who is a sixteen adopted Indian girl who lives in Salmon Creek. Salmon Creek is a very, very small town and Kelley made that absolutely clear in this book. She used to live there happily with her two best friends Serena and Daniel. When I mean used to live with, I mean the Serena girl died right in the first chapter of the story. It was kind of messed up of how things started and Maya got really suspicious about how she died. She has a right to be considering the fact that she drowned and she was the captain of the swim team.

Since, after that chapter I had thought up several different ways she could have died. Later, in the story I find out that I was right around the mark, but I won’t talk about that until later. Your just going to have to wait until next week’s post to know what I’m talking about.

Anyway, a year goes by and weird things start to happen to her. She can hear far away, heal animals and has become a star athlete, especially, when it comes to track. Even though, she isn’t on the team. I just couldn’t put my finger on what she was. I was going crazy thinking about it.

Things get stranger and more mysterious when our handsome and mysterious bad boy, Rafe, come into the mix. Now when it came to the romance in this story, I was torn between Daniel and Rafe. Rafe was that bad boy who liked playing the mystery card, but could tell he had a soft and protective side to him. Daniel, on the other hand, has been her best friend since they were kids and has always been with her through good and bad times. You can tell he really cares about her, but I couldn’t tell if this was a protective version of his friendship towards her or that he liked her more than a friend. Again I think that will be revealed later in the story.

This just keeps your head buzzing. It just makes you want to read more and more and make you cry when their aren’t any pages left. I highly recommend this series to all book lovers. I hope you enjoy the story as I have!

Prince of Tennis

I’m not a big sports fan, but tennis is one of the many sports that are out there that I can get into and understand. So, when I saw Prince of Tennis I decided to give it a shot.

This anime was funny and cool to watch. It’s about a seventh grader named Ryoma Echizen who moves into Japan with his father. He now attends an academy where its said its tennis team is one of the best in the world and he’s determined to make the team. According to Ryoma, he plays tennis because he wants to reach the top and that he also wants to beat his father, Nanjiro Echizen, one day. His father used to be a famous tennis player, but then suddenly retired and vanished from the world. Why he did so is still a complete mystery.

Anyway, from what I can see Ryoma may look and act cool all the time, but if you really watch him you can see that he has a bit of an idiot side to him.For example, when we all thought that he had completely didn’t remember that sweet girl, Sakuno, who not only goes to the same school as him, but is always cheering him on at his matches. I felt bad for her for a moment, but as we saw later the only reason why he didn’t remember her was because he was so wrapped up in the match at the time.

It still sucks though. When the guy you idolize and have a crush on doesn’t even remember that you exist.

When I first watched the opening theme song. I thought for a moment that these kids are going to playing tennis with some kind of superpowers or something. I was thinking,” Is this why these kids are the top team in tennis? Do they have some kind of superpowers that they’ve been using this whole time?” They don’t have powers apparently, their just that good.

You should have seen the look on everyone’s face, especially, the tennis team when Ryoma beat a regular. They were very much intimidated by him and I don’t blame them. But, the only thing that I didn’t get is why they don’t let seventh graders play. I thought that was unfair, but Ryoma ends up showing them up which ends up getting him a long list of enemies that want to put him in his place.

Whether he beats them all and makes it to the top is unknown until you watch it for yourself. If you’re a sports fan then I suggest giving Prince of Tennis a shot. It’s also a manga, so you can read or watch it or both if you like. I hope you guys enjoy it!
