Welcome back everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July this year. If not I hope this new comic that I discovered will make your day a little brighter.

This story is called, “Phantom Paradise” which was made by Rurisen (L. Zhu) and its about a young boy named, Hayate, who tells his side of the story and how he became the enemy’s emperor after swearing to his best friend that they would both one day help take down the queen of phantom paradise and go to heaven.
It goes into Hayate’s past of when they were younger and how he became the way he did. Just from reading a chapter or two you realize that he’s not evil, just misunderstood. That he had to make the tough decisions in his past to get where he his now while his best friend was suffering from a demonic coma the entire time this was taking place. From the way the world is described I would say it would be some kind of spirit world or purgatory. That’s because everyone who lives there is aware of spirits, ghosts and demons and that they all had previous lives before they got there.
They don’t really go into detail of each characters pasts since this is still an ongoing story, but until they do I suggest you use your imagination. Now, you’ll notice quickly in this story that women are the dominant gender in that world which I wouldn’t have a problem with if it wasn’t for the fact that almost every female character in this story is an evil bitch! Women are more superior to men in Phantom Paradise because of the fact that they can use magic and have become stronger than men in combat.
The only use that men have in this world are their mana which women can absorb to make themselves stronger which is why men are either a woman’s concubine, servant, slave, husband, etc. Pretty much the system is the more men you have under the more powerful that woman happens to be which is probably why the queen is so damn powerful. Speaking of the queen, it hasn’t been explained as to why she’s a skeleton yet in the story which I find odd. When I first saw her I thought she was only wearing a skeleton mask, but then you see later that her whole body is that way.
Does she make her body that way only when she’s in public?
Is it a curse?
Is she so old that her body melted away and the only thing keeping her alive is her magic?
I don’t know and we may never know this answer until the creator decides to put it in the story. If some of you already know the answer by any chance, don’t hesitate to tell me in the comments below. Back to Hayate, he becomes a concubine in training in the royal palace and he constantly has to fend off other trainees, jealous concubines, ghosts, monsters while staying under the radar so nobody finds out that he can do Magic!
Yes. ladies and gentlemen, you heard it right he can do magic which as you know no man in Phantom Paradise was able to do. But, it’s not just the fact he can do magic that makes him important its it the fact of his true identity which if the wrong people found out would do everything in their power to make sure he ceases to exist. What is his true identity you ask?
Well, your going to have to read it in order to find out the answer. This is very good story that will suck you really quick. If your into cute guys, fantasy, action and the supernatural then you’ve got to give this comic a try and see how you like it.
