Young Justice

I loved the idea about a show where the sidekicks would be running the show. So, when Cartoon Network finally aired Young Justice I had to watch it. When I first watched it one of my favorite characters was Robin and not just because I knew and everybody else knew who he was. I loved his little devious personality where he likes to cause mischief and mess around with his enemies before taking them down. Next, is Aqualad who is used to live in Atlantis before deciding to want to live on the surface world. He is the leader of the team and likes to use water magic. Aqualad is a very serious type of guy who doesn’t let his feelings on anything get in the way of how to judge a situation.

Megan or better known as Ms. Martian is obviously a martian who traveled to Earth to become part of the Young Justice team. My first impression of her is that she is really perky and sometimes can be totally clumsy when she isn’t thinking. My thoughts were confirmed when I saw in the show that, whenever, she would start ranting about something she would make a mess of things or when they all started to go to school, she became part of the cheerleading squad. All in all, Megan is just really, really girly.

Now that I’ve talked a little about Megan, we know go to Conner another character that I grow fond of. In the very first episode and mission, they discover a younger clone of Superman who later became known has Superboy. Conner has a lot of anger issues and for obvious reasons. He was a clone, everyone thought that Conner was Superman’s son, Superman didn’t want anything to do with him and the list of problems goes on and on. Most of his angry outbursts that you’ll see while watching were either directed at the team or to Megan. Now at first Megan became public enemy number one for Conner when she started using her mind powers to communicate with everyone in the beginning. If you’ve already watched to show then you know why this was a serious problem. But, later in the show Megan and Conner become attached to each other, which I wasn’t surprised at, at all.

Our last two team members of Young Justice would have to be Kid Flash and Artemis. Kid Flash or also known as Wally is the Flash’s sidekick and is a total jokester. He’ll say and do things that will really make you laugh, but totally piss off his teammates. You’ll find that he’s quite the flirt no matter how unsuccessful his flirting attempts are with the ladies. Now Artemis was a bit tricky. The moment you see her, you know that she’s hiding something plus she didn’t quite join the team under good terms. When Young Justice was formed, Speedy who later changed his name to Red Arrow; decided to go solo because he thought that this new team was a joke and a waste of time and left to do hero work that he thought was worth his time. The team was a bit sore when he left and it didn’t help matters when they brought Artemis in who was also an archer. They kind of felt like that she was his replacement.

You’ll definitely get sucked into the show. Everyone is hiding a secret, what kind of secret is only revealed after you watch the show. Its filled with action, mystery, comedy and drama. That you don’t want to miss. I am aware that their seem to be more than one season to Young Justice and I can’t wait to watch them and talk about them later.

Thanks for Reading!
