Another One Bites the Dust (Jaz Parks Series)

The second book to the Jaz Parks series is,” Another One Bites the Dust”. In this book, the ass kicking duo as grown to a team and they are now on their next mission. Apparently, a crazy vampire stole armor from her old friend and current teammate, Bergman. Bergman is this paranoid, hermit type guy who is a genius that invents hi-tech gadgets for Jaz and for the government.

When he found out that the dragon armor was stolen he wanted to help bring it back. The team of five people who are Jaz (huntress), Vayl (vampire), Cole (ex-private investigator), Bergman (gadget inventor) and Cassandra (powerful psychic). I know you can already feel the heat with these people together. Bergman and Cassandra aren’t getting along because he doesn’t believe and magic and likes to push Cassandra’s buttons. I’m just waiting for her to stop and just strangle him.

Vayl and Cole aren’t getting along for obvious reasons. Jaz and Cole are getting along which leads to her and Vayl start to have a falling out. I know Vayl’s just jealous but he needs to learn how to express himself more if he wants them to be together. He seems to be the type of guy who just expects you to know what he’s thinking which she can……most of the time. Even though, they still care about each other.

That shows a lot in this book when Jaz starts to have frightening nightmare that could end up killing her. I was scared for her life while also screaming at her,”Girl, it’s a dream! Your having a dream, wake up before you die!”

It gets really intense and your just waiting for someone to pop and go crazy. There are so many close calls in this book that it’ll make you go crazy. I definitely recommend reading this as quickly as possible.

Thanks for Reading!
