Utawarerumono The Anime

Hello everyone!

I said that I was going to talk about this a while back, but now I’m finally going to talk about the anime show “Utawarerumono”. I played the game earlier and it was super awesome, so expectations for the anime were pretty high.

I wasn’t surprised that a lot of the events in the game happened in the anime, as well. The only differences between the two would have to be that they went into more detail about the people who we fight against in the war so we get a better grip about who they are. Also, most of the lewd moments and mentions in the game aren’t in the show to my utter disappointment. I was kind of looking forward to that.

For those of you, who haven’t played the game or watched it yet. It’s about a guy named, Haku, who wakes up with amnesia to find out that his world is no longer his own. Giant insect creatures, giant acid blobs, magic, people with cat ears and tails are now the norm in this world and he travels with his savior and friend, Kuon, to the capital in order to find his place in the world.

What he doesn’t know is that his life is about to get a whole lot more complicated once he gets to the capital.

All of the characters in the anime are just as hilarious as they were in the game and it still keeps that mystery and action element going the whole time. I truly loved it and hope that there is more coming soon. If you guys don’t want to watch it or play it then the manga is always out there for your enjoyment. If your into action, adventure, mystery and hot cat-eared people everywhere then this is definitely for you. Enjoy!
