Pokemon Y: The Game

So, I’ve been hearing some good things about the new game Pokemon x and y. So, I decided to buy Pokemon Y and see if it’s as good as everyone tells me. It is.

This would have to be the best Pokemon game they have ever made so far. The graphics are awesome and plus if you put it in 3D it gets even better. I haven’t played a Pokemon game in a long time, but this one is strangely addicting. Even when I’m not playing it, I’m still thinking about it to the point that I’m playing it again.

What I love most about Pokemon games or all games for that matter is the story and characters. I liked how they gave you the option to not just be a boy or a girl, but they also let you choose from different skin tones. If you thought that wasn’t enough, in the game they include clothing shops so you can buy clothes and change your characters outfit or even change and color your characters hairstyle,whenever, you want.

I was really excited about that until I figured out what the catch was. Everything is this game is super expensive. I mean your really going have to watch what you buy in this game because these prices are ridiculous. They make you work for those new pants, that new hairstyle and even for supplies at the Poke Mart. Just getting a poke ball or two is close to 1,000 dollars in the game when they know that you’ve only beaten three trainers and can’t possibly afford it.

Their should be no reason why we should be making life decisions when inside one of those stores. They are making sure that we beat every single trainer in our path. Instead, of trying to avoid them just to get the next town like we used to do. I thought that little detail was funny and frustrating at the same time. But, luckily there are ways for you to make some quick cash. For example, going to the Battle Chateau and beating up all the rich kids will give a lot of cash quick, selling your precious belongings or just doing it the old fashion way and beat all the trainers that dare cross your path.

Like I said before this game is very addictive and I don’t think we’ll ever get enough of these them. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next time.
