Star Crossed Lovers: Lovers In The Stars

Its the first post of the new year as I dive into the webcomic that’s rising in popularity, ‘Star Crossed Lovers: Lovers In The Stars’ by Ioana Muresan.

Its a about a female mechanic named Felicia who works on spaceships when she discovers, Aman, a dark prince, whose been cryo frozen in the ship’s cargo hold. Not knowing the situation, she does some digging and realizes that he’s been missing from his home planet for some time. There are so many questions as to how or why he was there in the first place, so Felicia comes up with a plan to set him free.

In exchange for setting him free, he gives her a device and tasks her to go to his planet to give it to him there. Yes, I know that sounds weird after being set free and I don’t want to spoil it for you, but let’s just say things got out of hand and he couldn’t keep it on him anymore.

After their grand escape, Felicia’s sense of responsibility for what happened drives her to complete her task and meet up with Aman again to make sure that he’s actually safe and sound. As they get closer, it comes to Felicia’s attention, why someone put him in a cryo frozen prison in the first place. She starts to wonder if she actually made the right choice in helping him.

This is a beautifully dark romance story that is still ongoing. But, I do have some predictions about where the story might go. For example, I think Aman’s split personality dilemma and his powers weren’t just caused by childhood trauma, I think he either went through something or was experimented on. I think Felicia and Aman are going end up together and not just because its a romance story. Felica is so soft, gentle and believes that theirs good in him somewhere; while everyone thinks that he’s an unstable dictator. Meanwhile, Aman is the opposite, but underneath it all he actually does have a kind heart. Also, I think Felicia is going to encounter Aman’s other self, but ‘he’ won’t attack her.

These are all theories and may or may not happen as the story continues. That’s why we are all waiting patiently for the next Webtoon update. If you like dark romance stories with aliens and plenty of action then give it a read and tell me your own predictions and thoughts about the story.
