A Girl’s Story From Far Away

I’m back ladies and gentlemen! I’ll be honest and say I didn’t realize how long ago since I’ve made an appearance on my blog until just recently and I apologize for that. I got distracted with a lot of things going on in the world of reality and I guess I didn’t realize how much time passed. Anyway, let’s move on to better things.

This time I’m going with what I would call a ‘classic’ since I read this manga a llloonnnggg time ago and couldn’t believe that I never talked about it. This one is called ‘Kanata Kara‘ or also known as ‘From Far Away’ which was made Kyoko Hikawa. It’s about a normal high school girl named,” Noriko”, who suddenly gets thrown into another world which was predicted by the seers of that new world that she would appear as the Awakening. The Awakening is supposed to be a being that will awaken the Sky Demon onto the world which will wreak havoc upon the world into an era of eternal darkness.

Basically, Noriko is going to help start the freaking apocalypse!!!

What the seers in this world didn’t foresee is the Awakening and the Sky Demon to end up looking like two normal people. Noriko is pretty much normal for the most part of this story, but Izark the handsome warrior aka Sky Demon was pretty much super human. He had a lot of different abilities going on, but he was super scared to use them or go deeper in strengthening his powers sometimes because since birth he was told that he would become the Sky Demon and destroy the world. So, in turn would never try to use too much of his powers. But, since Izark is pretty much unbeatable he never had to push himself that far anyway…….until Keimos came into his life.

Keimos is another handsome devil warrior in this story and is obsessed with being the strongest warrior around. He’ll fight anybody that wants to and make an example of them to prove his point to his enemies. So, when Izark came in and kicked his ass; you could say that Keimos was a little miffed at finally being beaten down.

Keimos ended up being the first of many problems for the two because everyone in the world is looking for those two but don’t know where to look. You would think that would work to their advantage, but these two have the worst luck when it comes to running into trouble. Their main problem ends up being a man named,”Rachef” and for good reason. He ends up brining a world of hurt to the pair and I’m going to say how because your going to have to read it to believe it.

This is a very heart warming manga that you will cherish forever if your into the romance/fantasy type of mangas. Its filled with romance, mysterious creatures, dragons and magic that you won’t be able to get enough of. So, if your into this these types of manga then I would suggest you give it a read. The only thing that got me was the ending because I kind of felt like the creator of the manga didn’t know how to properly end the series. As if they weren’t sure if they wanted it to keep going or not, but it’s still a pretty good ending anyway and I really enjoyed the story.
