This time I’ll be talking about an ongoing manga called,“Jaryuu Tensei”, that was made by Seto Meguru. It’s mainly revolved a person who calls himself, Ja, who was an ordinary person until he died in an accident and was reincarnated into a dragon in a whole different world. In this world, he’s super strong with his own magical powers and the people in that world call him evil for reasons unknown and come from all over the world to fight him in order for them to get stronger.

He lives his life pretty peacefully with the cute little slimes as his servants until a group of really evil and powerful people come to find him and end up killing a good chunk of his slimes in the process. It’s at that moment that he knew he had to leave the mountain before something even worse happens to them. Also, the fact that he ate an Orc pea that transforms beasts to human like forms kind of helped his decision a little.

When he turned human I thought two things and that was he was going to lose his dragon powers and that he would never become a dragon ever again. When you go further into the story you realize that both assumptions are wrong and you become incredibly happy about these facts. Also, I’m really curious on how he remembers his past life and why. That’s a bit of a mystery that has yet to be solved in this manga, but it is still an uncompleted series so they might reveal the reason later on.

Moving on, he travels to town to see the world through a human’s eyes and ends somehow at a slave auction where he meets Ireinu, the elf princess. I’m going to assume she’s a princess or at least the tribe chief’s daughter just from what I saw in her back story and making my own theories of who she was before she was being sold as a slave. Ja ends up buying her and help heal her scarred body and heart until she becomes this cute, but unbelievable force. She is extremely loyal to Ja and for good reasons. Ireinu is my favorite character so far in the story because I like how she acts so sweet and cute until someone insults Ja and then she goes into devil mode and attacks.

Eventually, I think Ja is going to have to fight the dragon gods and transform into a real dragon. Which will reveal his true identity to his friends and soon to be friends that have yet to be revealed in this story.

Yes, I shall say once again that this is an ongoing series and it is only a manga right now. I would think for this an anime series will probably show up in the future, but don’t quote me on that. It’s really funny, action packed and full of hot people so I would call this a well-rounded manga to pass the time with. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the story and I wonder if he’s going to choose one of these lovely ladies to be his? Guess you won’t find out until you read it.
